I managed a small inhouse design team at this modern e-commerce retailer. Our goal was to further evolve and roll-out the newly created identity to create competitive, eye-catching advertising all over London.
Working closely on multiple advertising pieces with the Marketing Manager, our brilliant copywriter and one of the co-founders of Swoon, we would meet weekly to discuss recent campaigns and how we could evolve the next campaign.
The goal was to create modern, simplified layouts led by a clever tagline that has a double meaning but related to the product. My role was to bring the vision to life – taking creative direction and copy and creating a clean, simplistic layout that was versatile to change out several products. I worked on creating templates for OOH advertising, print, email campaigns and digital platforms while always evolving the brand a little further on the next campaign.
Results were measurable based on our sales code and we were able to constantly evolve the look based on the design trend of the product. Ads were being recognised by the media, giving praise for the cheeky taglines seen all over London.
